Employee performance appraisal is an assessment of individual / employee work that is produced that is compared to existing standards of both quality and quantity previously determined to encourage employee morale in increasing their dedication and performance. PT. Andalan Pulp and Paper (PT. RAPP) is a company or industry engaged in the production of paper or pulp and paper (paper) makers and is one of the largest pulp companies in the Asia Pacific. The selection of the best employees of PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (PT.RAPP) Estate Logas has been conducted every year. However, this election process has not been effective and efficient. Because the implementation is still processed manually using paper and filled in the form for each employee given by the Leader and information received and the decision making process by the leader for a long time. For that, we need a system of best employee decision-making using the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method because the basic concept of SAW is to find the sum weighted from the performance of each alternative on all attributes. The system is made based on the web using PHP programming language and MySql database. It is expected that this system will be able to help the selection of the best employees at PT. RAPP Estate Logas and make it easier to solve problems by a leader in a measurable and appropriate manner.
